* 西新宿のReggae Shop Nat よりShinjuku Tracksの第4段が到着。先日のTapeが来阪しプレイした時に、はじめて聴いて「これは！」と思い、連絡したところ快く送って頂きました。レゲエではPenthouseからのBig Tuneでお馴染みスザンヌ・ヴェガ「Tom’s Diner」をオマージュしたアシッド感が漂う、オリジナル・ジャパニーズ・ダンスホールR&B。

Shinjuku Tracks returns with a compelling new 7-inch release, tapping into 2000s dancehall futurism with this killer reinterpretation of Salaam Remi's Acid Hall riddim. Originally released under the Hot Ice Crew alias, the riddim is a genre-defying collision of minimal dancehall and TB-303 aesthetics, driven by hypnotic rhythms and deep low-end weight. Ichihashi Dubwise recreates this sonic anomaly with forensic precision, layering in fresh textures while YAYA子’s ethereal Japanese vocals add a haunting new dimension. The flip side features an instrumental version. This release celebrates the riddim’s boundary-pushing legacy.
